You really can just use this for all your vaping needs. If you're starting out, I'd suggest starting with this ego due to the long battery life (I hate charging things). I can vape all day, and even the next day on one 30 minute usb charge. I started vaping in January 2012 so I could quit smoking, and this was the only starter kit I bought and it has been worth every penny. It is not easy quitting cigs, and this ecig has been awesome helping me quit. Consider getting the mega b atomizer AND the pyrex drip tip so you can drip eliquid into the atomizer (part that makes the vape). The eliquids, you are going to have to experiment with which one you like best. Get a few different eliquids with the money you save from buying this.

Have only had the eGo for 4 days, but I am really liking it, especially the long battery life.  The vaping action is quite good as well.  Far superior to the previous ecig I was using purchased from another company.

i go my Eqo kit today, from John, the thing it so good that i haven't touch my analoge package all day,
the only bad thing its that 1 atty came DOA but right away John go a solution for that problem, I'm happy with my product
